Product Description

This STIHL FUNCTION BASIC helmet set is ideal for chainsaw work, strimming, brush cutting, mowing, etc. It is STIHL’s entry level helmet set and is comprised of a helmet, nylon mesh visor, and ear defenders, saving money when compared to buying them separately.

Being just 750 grams, this helmet set is both easy to carry and wear while working. The low-profile ear muffs supply excellent noise protection while the vents in the helmet chamber provide ventilation, keeping you comfortable on long tasks.

Elastic visor seals also stop any dirt or small particles of debris getting into the helmet, ensuring optimal working conditions even on demanding projects. The visor itself also uses a glare protective screen, stopping intense sunlight glare from affecting your work.

It is also coloured in bright orange for enhanced visibility and safety.

Nylon mesh

Flexible nylon mesh is the most widely used face mask, displaying higher durability and reducing the risk of breakage. Please note that the additional use of safety glasses is highly recommended.

Helmet ventilation

Thermography shows the advantages of a helmet with standard ventilation (right). The temperature fell by two to three degrees and the humidity increased by 50%.
