The STIHL RM 448 VC is an 18” petrol lawnmower with variable self-drive, making it ideal for medium lawns (up to 1200cm2), especially those that may have steep gradients.

The Vario self-drive is an auto-propulsion system, which enables you to adapt the mower’s speed depending on conditions or your personal mowing preference. This can all be simply altered on the handlebar control lever.

Its powerful and high-quality OHV engine complements the vario self-drive, allowing the machine to cut quicker and more effectively. Protecting the engine is a well-crafted polymer housing, which is both lightweight and robust.

Precise cutting results can also be gained from the mower’s Highlift blade technology and 6-setting height adjustment. The Highlift blade generates a strong air current to allow the grass to stand on end before cutting, delivering clean and professional cuts, while the cutting height adjustment allows you to select a precise height by the centrally located lever.

Also, this mower features STIHL’s ergonomically designed mono-comfort handlebar, which is height adjustable and makes access to the grass catcher box very easy.

Central cutting height adjustment

The central cutting height adjustment on this STIHL battery-powered lawn mower is spring- loaded making it easy to operate, and has several adjustment levels to obtain the desired cutting height for the lawn. The current height is indicated by a scale. In this way, the grass can always be optimally adapted to the conditions of the lawn surface and the use.

Easy start engine (ReadyStart)

Highlift blade

The highlift blade gives a precise finish to the lawn and ensures optimal filling of the grass catcher box. Carrying handles
