Product Description

The STIHL RMA 448 VC is a powerful cordless lawnmower that is ideal for use on larger lawns due to its 46 cm cutting width.

It also features an easy to operate variable drive, which is adjustable via a lever on the handlebar and offers automatic speeds between 2 km/h and 4.5 km/h. Naturally, this will give you greater mowing control, allowing you to alternate speeds for various lawn conditions and your operating comfort.

The AP 300 lithium ion battery delivers power for up to 400 m2 on one charge, more than enough for any large domestic garden. It also uses flow optimised blades and an Eco mode function, which further reduces energy usage by alternating motor speed and reducing blade resistance.

Moreover, the generous 55-litre foldable grass catcher bag limits the number of times you need to empty it, saving you time to get on with your mowing.

Carrying handles

The STIHL battery-powered lawn mower has a carrying handle integrated into the housing for ease of transport. The handle makes the cordless mower easier to load or return to the upright position. The carrying handle is also suitable as a lashing point, for example for securing the lawn mower with a strap during transport.

Height-adjustable comfort handlebar

The comfort handlebar is only mounted on one side of the lawn mower, making it easier for you to remove the grass collection box. Folding grass collection box

The innovative grass catcher box is made of plastic and features a folding mechanism that makes it particularly easy to open and empty. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures its optimum filling, Special vanes in the box channel the air towards the ground, and so protect the user and lawn mower alike from dust and dirt that has been thrown up. The level indicator signals the correct time for emptying. The airflow generated by the blade raises the level indicator. When the basket is full, the airflow stops. If the airflow is too low, the level indicator returns to its idle state and this is an indication to empty the catcher box. Optimal airflow is required in order for the level indicator to function fully. External influences such as wet, dense or tall grass, a low cutting height, contamination, etc. may affect the airflow and the performance of the level indicator.

Polymer housing
